Sonshine Singers

Trinity has a new ministry under the umbrella of the Music Ministry and HomeTouch Ministry. The SonShine Singers is a group of about 30 women who present programs to area nursing homes, including the Veterans Home in Jennings. The group consists of choir members and other church members who enjoy singing. Every other month they present themed programs, which include secular songs of the chosen theme. After a short devotional, the program concludes with old hymns fitting the theme. Residents are encouraged to sing along, and many participate. The group includes about five non-Trinity women from area churches. Any women who enjoys singing and ministering to the elderly is encouraged to join the group.
