Sports bring people together, creating opportunities for growth, teamwork, and lasting friendships. That’s why Upward Sports exists—to provide a Christ-centered athletic experience where kids develop skills, make friends, and hear the Gospel.
What is Upward Sports?
Since its founding in 1995 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Upward Sports has focused on a single mission: using sports to reach children and families with the love of Jesus. What started as a local basketball league has expanded into over 2,800 leagues nationwide, offering basketball, soccer, cheerleading, volleyball, and flag football.
Developing character, confidence, and faith through sports is a priority. Young athletes not only build their skills on the field but also grow spiritually in a positive, competitive, and Christ-centered environment.
