Christmas

The Christmas season is always filled with festive music featuring tunes that remind the young at heart of a childhood revisited. At the same time these tunes impress upon adolescent ears instant favorites that will endure the rest of their lives. Our Worship Ministry, plus a few guests, will present such nostalgic tunes that are sure to please the heart and soul of all who attend.

Here are a few of the musical delights that will be heard during our Classical to Classic Christmas concert: Joy to the World, How Great Our Joy, Angels We Have Heard on High, Panis Angelicus, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, Jingle Bells, Deck the Halls, Ave Maria, Ding Dong! Merrily On High, I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day, Carol of the Bells, Earth Lies Spellbound in Darkness, Caroling, Caroling, Now We Go, Home for the Holidays, and many more.

Join us as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ! “For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)

Lottie Moon

Christmas Offering

Lottie Moon was sent as a Southern Baptist missionary to China from 1873 to 1912. She saw firsthand the world's greatest problem — LOSTNESS. Meeting so many people who had never heard the gospel compelled her to write letters to American churches describing the need for a greater missionary presence. She pleaded for increased prayer and financial support to send and sustain more missionaries. This challenge became known as the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering®.
