No Pain, No Gain

Smyrna had it hard. Christians there lost their jobs, their place in the guilds, and their good name, simply because they refused to call Caesar lord. They were poor, afflicted, and slandered.

Into that pressure, the risen Christ spoke. Yet He didn’t begin with their problem. He began with Himself, the First and the Last, the One who was dead and has come to life.

In this message, Pastor David Rose walks through Revelation 2:8–11 and draws out four truths Christ speaks to a hurting church. The same Christ who carried Smyrna through the fire holds you. And to the fearful heart He says, “Be faithful to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
