Serve Week
One week. One church family.
Six days of simple, tangible ways to love the Lake Area. Clean a home for a single mom. Serve a meal to the homeless. Feed a college athlete. Hand cotton candy to a kindergartner and tell him about Jesus.
Some opportunities take thirty minutes. Some take three hours. All of them communicate the same message: it’s all about loving Jesus, loving people, and sharing hope.
Can’t be there? You can still go!
Sponsor a meal for a family while a team cleans their home Monday night.
Pack Light the Night Halloween boxes.
Pray. By name, by day, all week.

Find Your Spot
Here's how it works: Pick a day. Pick a role. Register. Most projects have limited spots and many will fill fast. Sign up early so we know what to plan for.
HomeTouch Lawncare
Caring for widows is one way we live out our faith (James 1:27). HomeTouch volunteers mow, rake, and maintain yards for the widows in our church family. It’s a simple act that communicates, you belong here, you matter. Talk to your small group leader about joining. Don’t have a small group? Reach out to Mark and we’ll add you to the crew!
Why We Serve
We do it because Christ came to us while we were still His enemies. He washed us, paid what we owed, and called us sons and daughters. None of us ever earned a square inch of that. So when we load up buckets and mops to go out Monday night, we’re not trying to prove something. We’re passing on the love and hope we ourselves have received (1 Peter 4:10).
Somebody has an hour to hand out popcorn to five year old. Somebody else has three hours to scrub a kitchen for a mom who hasn’t had help in a long time. A retired member whose knees won’t take a bathroom floor can still buy that family dinner. A busy family can pack a Light the Night Halloween kit around their own kitchen table. Somebody who’s never served before can carry a plate to a college student and ask how the semester is going.
Different hands, same message to the Lake Area – Loving Jesus, loving people, and sharing hope.
This is the week we put on old jeans and go find our neighbors.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to commit to the whole week?
Nope! Sign up for one shift or six. Every little bit helps!
What if I've never served at Trinity before?
No problem! It’s a great opportunity to get to know the rest of the Trinity family. Come serve the Lake Area with us!
Can I bring my kids?
That really depends on the day. Thursday morning and Saturday are built for families. Monday and Tuesday aren’t. If you have any questions, be sure to reach out and ask. We’ll get you sorted!
Do I need a Serve shirt?
Wear your Serve shirt this week. When our neighbors in the Lake Area see Trinity’s name on your shirt, it opens the door to conversations about why we’re there. Your shirt is an invitation to build connection.
If you’ve served with us at the last Serve Day, you have one. New to serving? Register early. We need time to order shirts for everyone.
What if I sign up and something comes up?
Tell your point person as soon as you know. Some of these projects have people counting on a specific number of hands.
Is there training?
There is no training this year. We’ll be sure to keep you updated and your point person will contact you with specific details.
