Promotion Sunday
It’s almost time for kids and students to move into their next small groups!
If your child is already plugged into Trinity Kids (birth–5th grade) or Trinity Student Ministry (6th–12th grade), you’ll receive an email with updated room info before May 31.
New or not yet connected? No problem. This is a great time to jump in. Our team will help you check in, find the right classroom, and get settled. Promotion Sunday marks the beginning of new ministry groups for the summer, but if you can’t make it that day, we’ll help you get plugged in the following week.
Promotion happens in both small groups and Children’s Worship. If your child stays through the 10:45 service, they’ll move into their new Children’s Worship group that morning too.
Parents are welcome to walk in, meet leaders, and explore classrooms, or drop off and head to your own small group. It’s a relaxed, open-house style morning, so no pressure.
What to Expect

We’re so excited to walk with your family into this next season of discipleship!
Frequently Asked Questions
What time should we arrive?
Sunday small group drop-off is at 9:10 AM. If your child stays for the 10:45 service, Children’s Worship drop-off is at 10:40 AM. Come a few minutes early to either so you have time to connect with leaders before heading to your own service.
Where do we go?
If your child is already in a class, you’ll receive an email before Promotion Sunday with updated room info. If you’re new or not sure where to go, just come to check-in. For birth–5th grade, head to Trinity Kids. For 6th–12th grade, go to the Trinity Student Venue. Our team will walk you through everything and help you get settled.
We’ve never been to Trinity. What should we expect?
We’re excited to meet you! At check-in, we’ll help you register your child, explain how everything works, and guide you to the right room. We’ll also make sure we have what we need to keep your child safe and cared for. You don’t need to figure it all out in advance—we’re here to help.
Who will be there?
Leaders, staff, and volunteers will be ready to welcome your family, answer questions, and help your child feel at home.
Is there a map?
Yes! You can download a campus map ahead of time. Printed copies are posted around our campus to help you find classrooms, venues, and key locations. Need help? Just ask someone with a Trinity name tag. We’re happy to help!
