Our class is known as Mercy and Grace—a name that captures the heart of who we are and what we try to live out together.
Our goal is for each person to feel welcomed, loved, and part of the family, while growing deeper in the Word of God and in likeness to Jesus Christ, our Savior.
Our teaching time is highly interactive—this isn’t a lecture but a chance for everyone to dig into Scripture together. We invite everyone to approach each lesson with an open heart, saying, “Here I am, Lord, teach me.” Questions are welcomed, life experiences are valued, and we often close in prayer, laying hands on those who need support in hard times like health struggles or grief.
We believe every believer is saved to serve, and we encourage each member to find their place within our class, whether it’s greeting at the door, calling guests, or helping with prayer requests. Many of our members go on to serve in other areas of the church, and we celebrate that!
We also have some special traditions like our “Purple Folder” ministry. Each week, we pass a purple folder around to collect donations for various needs—whether it’s sponsoring a child in Africa, supporting local and international missions, or helping someone in need. Our “Blessing Box” ministry extends care to those in the hospital, providing a tangible reminder of God’s love through gifts and encouragement.
Each year, we host special events like the Spring Style Show and Christmas Party. It’s a fun way to invite friends and share the joy of just being together.
Our teacher has led Mercy and Grace for over 10 years, with a passion for God’s Word and a heart for prayer. This class is a place where faith and friendship come together, and we’d love for you to be a part of it!
