Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned area on a daily basis. A strong commitment to excellence in assigned workplace. Willingness to serve others. High School Diploma preferred but not required. Should have a good work ethic and a teachable spirit. Must be honest and open to constructive criticism and be willing to do whatever asked.
Responsibilities
- Vacuum and spot clean carpets in assigned areas.
- Sweep and mop hard floors in assigned areas.
- Dust and clean surfaces, tables, chairs, and bookshelves in assigned areas.
- Dust and clean blinds in assigned areas.
- Wipe spots or stains off walls in assigned areas, if possible.
- Clean windows inside and out in assigned areas. If assigned to restrooms, clean urinals, toilets, sinks, partitions, walls, and surfaces. Refill paper towel dispensers, soap dispensers, and toilet paper dispensers.
- Advise supervisor of any maintenance needs in assigned areas.
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or Building and Grounds Department supervisors.
