For years, Trinity Church has been investing in the people of Zambia—brick by brick, prayer by prayer, and pastor by pastor.
We’re heading back this year to continue our partnership with IMB missionary Kenny Vines, a faithful servant who’s been equipping leaders and reaching communities with the good news of Jesus Christ. Our work there focuses on supporting a vocational training school for pastors—a place that’s equipping Zambian church leaders not just with sound doctrine, but with practical skills to sustain their families and serve their communities more effectively.
This school is more than a building. It’s a training ground for shepherds of God’s flock in Zambia, and Trinity has had the joy of playing a part in it since the early stages—helping construct the facility and returning regularly to serve in whatever ways are needed, from teaching and construction to encouragement and discipleship.
Why Zambia?
Zambia is a country rich in culture and community—and also ripe for spiritual growth. While many identify as Christian, there’s a deep hunger for sound teaching, pastoral training, and gospel-centered discipleship. Too often, church leaders lack access to theological education or practical support, which can leave congregations vulnerable to false teaching or discouragement.
Paul told Timothy, “Entrust what you’ve learned to faithful men who will teach others” (2 Timothy 2:2). That’s why this mission matters—multiplying leaders, deepening discipleship, and supporting a missionary we know and trust.
