Spiritual Disciplines with Donald Whitney

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Donald S. Whitney, pastor, professor, and author of classics like Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life, Praying the Bible, and Family Worship for a special morning workshop on spiritual growth and building daily habits that help us draw closer to God.
Holiness isn’t something we wait around for, it’s something God calls us to actively pursue. But what does that look like in real life? In this workshop, Dr. Whitney will guide us through a clear, biblical path to spiritual maturity, teaching practical habits that help Christians grow in grace without falling into legalism or drifting into spiritual apathy.
This time together will focus on spiritual disciplines that shape the heart and deepen our walk with Christ:
-
Absorbing and applying Scripture
-
Developing a consistent life of prayer
-
Engaging in worship, both personal and corporate
-
Sharing the gospel through everyday evangelism
-
Serving others with purpose and joy
-
Practicing fasting, solitude, journaling, and more
Dr. Whitney’s teaching is pastoral and practical, rooted in Scripture and aimed at everyday believers who want to grow spiritually, not just know more. His wisdom, shaped by decades of ministry, will encourage and challenge you, no matter where you are in your walk with Christ.
Free and open to all. No registration needed.
