Operation Christmas Child Assembly Teams

  • Details

Our local Operation Christmas Child team is on a mission and we’d love for you to be a part! Every month volunteers get together for fellowship and mission as we prepare shoeboxes filled with gifts for children around the world. Joining us doesn’t require much time or skill – mostly just willing hands and a heart for service. It’s a good way to get to know others while working for a great cause. There is no registration or sign up, just come and join us!

    About Operation Christmas Child

All across the U.S., over 10,000 volunteers spread the word about Samaritan’s Purse year-round. During National Collection Week in mid-November, a incredible 82,000 short-term volunteers staff over 4,500 drop-off sites. Once collected, each shoebox is carefully inspected and packaged for shipment internationally by 105,000 processing center volunteers. And supporting it all are 14,000 prayer warriors lifted up through our prayer network.

Every year, millions of gift-filled shoeboxes are gathered from locations in North America and places like Australia, Austria, Finland, Germany, New Zealand, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

Together we are working to see “a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb” (Rev. 7:9-10).
