Frequently Asked Questions
Is this really free?
Yep. No tickets, no sign-up, no catch. Just come and enjoy. Fireworks and Fun is our gift to the community.
I have health issues and get overheated. Will there be a place for me to cool down?
The weather in Lake Charles in July can be hot. We’ll have designated cool zones for anyone who needs them. Grab a map at the Info Station or ask one of our friendly volunteers. Security and medical staff will be onsite in case of emergencies.
Is it ok to bring coolers?
Absolutely! Feel free to bring ice, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages of your choice!
Is it ok to bring lawn chairs or blankets? What about an umbrella for shade?
Absolutely, we encourage it! We have plenty of space to spread out and get a great view of the fireworks! We only ask that you remove portable shade at dusk so that everyone can see the fireworks.
Will food be available to buy?
Yes! Food trucks will be cooking up some good stuff, including sweet treats.
How do I join the cornhole tournament?
Head to the Info Station when you arrive. Sign-up is easy and spots are limited.
Is this good for kids?
Yes! We’ve got water jumps, games, and lots of room to run and play.
Is the event accessible?
Yes. The grounds are stroller- and wheelchair-friendly, and restrooms are easy to get to.
Can I bring my dog?
We’d rather you didn’t—for safety reasons and to keep things comfortable for everyone.
Will there be restrooms?
Yes, we’ll have regular restrooms and portable toilets around the property.
