Mark Windham
NextGen and Missions Minister
Mark was born and raised in Texarkana, Texas, and has spent nearly his entire life in the Lone Star State. He and his wife, Gina, have been together since high school and have been married since July 2000. They are blessed with two daughters, Kaydence and Klayre.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Henderson State University and a master’s in Music Performance from the University of North Texas. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Divinity at Liberty University, focusing on biblical studies.
Joining Trinity Baptist marks his first full-time ministry position. Before this, he served as the Men’s Minister at Immanuel Baptist Church and spent 18 years as a band director in East Texas. His passion for teaching students to love music and recognize the talents God has given them has been one of the greatest joys of his life.
Outside of ministry, Mark stays active in his musical pursuits and enjoys a wide range of hobbies. He’s an amateur knife maker, a competitive shotgun shooter, and loves to read, and enjoys working on his ’78 Corvette. Since joining Trinity, he’s even taken up pickle ball!
Prayer for Trinity
Mark’s prayer for Trinity Baptist Church is that God would use him to deepen a love, commitment, and obedience to the mission given in Acts 1:8—that the church would be empowered by the Holy Spirit to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people, to the ends of the Earth.
His favorite scripture is Romans 12:2.
