Andy Jacobson
Interim Worship Minister
Andy grew up in church and was saved and baptized in 1973 at the age of 12. He and his wife, Becky, have been married for over 40 years and have been active members of Trinity Baptist Church for over 23 years. Andy has been involved in music ministry since 1992, serving both full-time and in interim positions at several churches in Southwest Louisiana. He has also performed as a soloist with the Louisiana Baptist Singing Ministers. In his free time, Andy enjoys golfing and fishing.
Their son, Brydon, and his wife, Samantha, live in Lake Charles, where they are both involved in ministry at Trinity. Brydon serves as an active deacon and plays guitar for the contemporary service. He works as the Human Resources Manager for Imperial Health, while Samantha is a teacher with the Calcasieu Parish School Board.
Their daughter, Taylor, is married to Dustin Smart, and they have two wonderful boys, Reed and Grayson. They also live in Lake Charles.
Andy’s prayer for Trinity Baptist Church is that it remains a bright light in a dark world, continuing to reach the lost, both locally and around the globe.
