Tolerating Ourselves to Death

Some of the deadliest threats to a church never come from outside its walls. In the fourth of Christ’s seven letters, Jesus speaks to a church that is growing, serving, and loving well, and He still confronts it. The problem is what the church tolerates. Executive Pastor Greg Bath opens Revelation 2:18-29 and shows how tolerated sin can hollow out a healthy-looking congregation.

The call to our church is clear. Hold fast to Christ. Reject the small compromises that feel harmless. Remember that the same Jesus who warns us also holds out nail-scarred hands. His grace is still available, and His call still stands.
