The doors for MidWeek open at 5pm, service is from 6-7. This week we will have students spend time learning and practicing prayer. As a core spiritual discipline, I like to regularly teach students how to pray. They will break up into groups and join together for guided prayer over different topics that are posted around the room.
On 10/29, we are welcoming students to dress up in a Halloween costume for MidWeek. We see this as a great way to teach students how to engage with the culture in an appropriate way!
However, we will be strict on enforcing modesty, no violent or graphic costumes, and no weapons. Some more instructions and explanations will be shared with students over the next couple of weeks. If you have any questions or clarifications, please reach out.
This week, we are looking at Acts 2:42-47. Here are the small group questions if you’d like to take a look at them—Acts 2:42-47 Small Group Q’s.
