“It became more and more clear to me that if I want to have a willing spirit to be obedient to all these things that He’s calling me to, why can’t I just be obedient to this little thing. It’s embarrassing, a little bit, to walk up in front of all of you, and just expose that. It’s not this big, deep, dark secret but there’s a vulnerability that is hard to overcome. But what I realized was, if Jesus can go to the cross, and He can be completely naked and completely exposed, all for me, then why can’t I just come up here and be obedient in baptism.”
