Definition & Summary of Position

Works in the Control Desk area checking-in Trinity Center members and acting as a representative of Trinity Baptist Church and Christ to the community.  They are responsible for enforcing the rules and policies of the Trinity Center. And they assist the Ministry staff in putting on activities and programs within the Trinity Center.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Check-In members and operate with in IGO Figure software, and hand out equipment to members.
  • Enter and file all paperwork and take initial payments dealing with new memberships.
  • Clearly communicate and uphold Trinity Center policies and procedures.
  • Clean Fitness Area equipment and wash towels to keep the facility in clean working order.
  • Oversee the Kidz Place, Gym, and Rock Wall areas for safety and cleanliness.
  • Prepare food and do sales transactions for snacks from the Trinity Center Café
  • Oversee and facilitate birthday parties every Saturday and outside events, including assisting party groups in the Rock Wall and explain rockwall safety.
  • Provide assistance with Upward programs when needed.

Necessary Knowledge and Skills

Essential to have an ability to work independently. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with our community members. And should have a knowledge of all basic computer skills.

Basic Qualifications

Must be CPR certified or get certification within first 30 days.  Must pass the background check & Sexual Awareness Test.

Reports to Trinity Center Activities Assistant Supervisor & Activities Ministry Assistant.

Definition & Summary of Position

Responsible for watching children in a safe and loving environment while parents of the children utilize the Trinity Center facility. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for making sure that children are cared for in a safe environment
  • Make sure to check diapers and change them as needed
  • Play with the children
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks of Kidz Place or childcare room
  • Greet parent and child as they enter their area, making sure they feel comfortable dropping off their child

Basic Qualifications

An understanding of meeting the needs of children for a short period of time. Being able to handle multiple ages at once. Must be CPR certified or get certification within first 30 days.  Must pass the background check & Sexual Awareness Test.

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as an Activities Ministry Assistant. This role is responsible for supporting the Activities Minister in planning and directing various activities within the Trinity Center and Upward programs.

Definition & Summary of Position

Responsible to help the Activities Minister plan and direct all the Trinity Center & Upward activities for all age groups with the focus of building the Kingdom of Christ.  Communicate effectively with the gym members and the community to what is going on at the Trinity Center.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and schedule all birthday parties done through the Trinity Center.
  • Oversee and schedule all outside events, making sure they follow the liability guidelines set forth, such as insurance coverage and background checks.
  • Manage and maintain cleaning of Fitness Equipment, Kidz Place, and Control Desk area.
  • Help plan and coordinate all church activities, tournaments, and big events done through the Activities ministry.
  • Plan weekly fitness classes and maintain the monthly gym calendar.
  • Maintain all fitness instructors and trainers’ certifications are up to date.
  • Help plan and coordinate other fitness camps outside of the regular scheduled classes.
  • Maintain all social media channels, plan weekly posts for each page.
  • Create and post signage around Trinity Center about upcoming events and changes.
  • Communicate through IGO Figure any information to gym members.
  • Schedule and call in any maintenance of all equipment in the Trinity Center area.
  • Hire quality childcare and trinity center staff.
  • Supervise and evaluate childcare workers regularly.
  • Evaluate and enforce childcare staff and parent policies.
  • Remain aware of accidents or injuries and behavioral disciplining of preschoolers, to keep records and communicate with the parents.
  • Act as liaison between the Trinity Center Childcare and Activities Ministry of Trinity Baptist Church.
  • Provide additional help with Upward programs and other Trinity Center sponsored events when needed, which may include evenings and/ or Saturdays periodically.
  • Works hand in hand with the Front Desk Supervisor for gym activities and maintenance.

Necessary Knowledge and Skills

Important to have the ability to delegate responsibilities in big event situations. And it is crucial to possess supervisory skills to train, organize, and lead staff.  Strong skills in communication and social media.

Basic Qualifications

Must have a real salvation experience and a walk that reflects that experience. Should have an outgoing personality and enjoy building relationships with community members. Must have well-developed people skills and the ability to communicate effectively and at times manage conflict.  It is essential to have the ability to work as a team player within the church and all its different ministries. And above all have a strong desire to be a reflection of Christ to the world.

Our Building and Grounds Team is currently seeking a detail-oriented and responsible individual to join us. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our preschool area. This position requires availability on Sundays from 12:15 PM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Thursday from 2:15 PM to 6:15 PM, and occasionally on Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM (flexible schedule).

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize the preschool area, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for children.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, and wipe down surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Clean and disinfect toys, furniture, and other preschool equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor when restocking is necessary.
  • Adhere to cleaning protocols and safety guidelines established by the church.
  • Occasionally assist with additional cleaning tasks or special projects as requested.

Requirements

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order in the preschool area.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work on Saturdays, as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with other staff members and church members.
  • Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time.
