Are you ready for Super Sunday 2023?
The epitome of an all-purpose player, Kevin Faulk remains the SEC’s leader in career all-purpose yards and LSU’s all-time leading rusher. He starred in the backfield for the Tigers from 1995-98, helping LSU to three bowl appearances over that span. Faulk earned All-America honors from The Associated Press in 1996 as well as being a three-time All-SEC selection.
Selected in the second round of the 1999 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots, Faulk spent his entire 13-year NFL career with that franchise. Faulk appeared in five Super Bowls, winning the title three times, while playing in the same backfield as Tom Brady.
Faulk was elected to the Patriots Hall of Fame in 2016. He is a member of the Patriots All-Decade Team for the 2000s and was named to the franchise’s 50th Anniversary Team as a return specialist.
Faulk is also a member of the LSU Athletic Hall of Fame, the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and the national College Football Hall of Fame.
Before joining LSU, Faulk was one of the nation’s most sought-after recruits. He was twice named Louisiana’s Most Valuable Player for 5A (highest classification) and led Carencro High School to the 5A state title as a sophomore in 1992.
Following his pro career, Faulk served as an assistant football coach from 2013-17 at Carencro High. He then served on the coaching staff at LSU from 2018-21. He annually hosts a free youth football camp in Louisiana, and he founded the Kevin Faulk Foundation to support youth.
