Kevin is a licensed professional counselor married 33 years to Krystal, the love of his life. They both grew up in church and met during a church event at Acadian Baptist Center in Eunice, Louisiana. Kevin grew up on a rice and soybean farm and was saved at Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Church in Branch, Louisiana, at the age of 7. One year after graduating high school he joined the Air Force, and with their sense of humor, he was assigned to work with the U.S. Army as a TACP working with live ordinances and a variety of pyrotechnics.

Later, Kevin earned a B.A. degree from Leavell College at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He then served as senior pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Eunice for almost seven years while completing my master’s degree in professional counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He has served as Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) director at Family & Youth, as well as a treatment provider for Calcasieu Parish Drug and DWI Court. He joined the Trinity team in 2015 and loves helping people in their journey through life.

The Richards have four adult children and five grandchildren. They love doing things together like walking, gardening, and other projects around the house. Kevin enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He is thankful to be a part of what God is doing here at Trinity and in the lives of His people.

Jerry and his family moved to Lake Charles in 2014, to serve as the Children’s Minister. He has been in ministry since 2001, some of those years were in a bi-vocational role in children’s ministry. In 2010, Jerry surrendered to full-time ministry and has had a blast serving in the local church and seeing Jesus do amazing things in the  lives of children and families. At the age of 7, Jerry entered into a relationship with Jesus and that has been the single most important decision of his life. He made my decision public at age 9 and was baptized.

Jerry and his wife, Shannon, met in middle school and were best friends throughout school. They dated through high school and college and have been married for 24 years. They love to travel either to the mountains of Colorado, beaches along the Gulf Coast or cruise the open waters wherever Carnival takes them. They have six children (Chase, Harley, Jenna, Jaelee, Liam, and Ruthie) that call them Mom and Dad and have given many real-life experiences to  Jerry’s role as a pastor.

Their oldest son, Chase, is married to Haley and lives in the Lake Area. Both serve in education in the parish.

Harley, their oldest daughter, is to be married to Ethan, in late 2022.  Harley is a stylist at one of the local salons and serves in kids ministry at Trinity on the worship team.

Jenna is studying at McNeese State University to become a doctor and loves to go on mission to make Jesus known to others.

Their three littles, Jaelee, Liam, and Ruthie love Jesus and are growing in their understanding of who Jesus is and how they can be world changers.

The Parmentiers are excited about what God is doing at Trinity and thankful to be part of the Trinity family!  They love that Jesus placed them here for this moment and believe the best days are ahead.

Keith, along with his wife, Amy, and son Jackson, moved to Lake Charles three weeks before Hurricane Laura from Eunice, Louisiana. He joined the Trinity staff in the days following Laura and not only came to appreciate how much Trinity gave to the Lake Area but also how much this community pulled together. Keith came to Trinity after spending 13 years working for Acadian Baptist Center and 10 years working for LAS Fire & Safety, both in Eunice. Amy is a pharmacist, Jackson is a student at Barbe High School, and their daughter Alicia joined us recently to attend McNeese State University. They have three other children, Tyler, Matthew, and Faith.

Keith was raised as a preacher’s kid and came to know Christ personally at the age of 7 while attending Trinity Baptist Church in Biloxi, Mississippi. Keith and Amy have a passion for missions, just like many people here at Trinity. They have led several groups to El Salvador and made trips to Mexico and Kenya to share the gospel.

Keith loves serving here at Trinity and inherited a great staff led by Cinnamon, Bobby, and Victor. They do an incredible job of keeping Trinity looking good and running smoothly. Their goal is to create a distraction-free environment that will allow God to move in a mighty way in the lives of those who visit this campus each week.

Rick has been with Trinity Baptist Church since April 2004. He has an undergraduate degree in Oral Communications from Baylor University and a Master’s of Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was raised in a pastor’s home and was saved at the age of 7. He has a wealth of experience having served churches in Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana. Rick and his wife, Karen, have two grown children and four grandchildren. He oversees all ministry areas, works specifically with the adult ministries, and gives overall leadership to the vision of Trinity with the senior pastor. His life verse is Matthew 6:33: “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things shall be added to you.”

John David is a worship leader and creative with a desire to see people connect with God. Born and raised in the Lake Area, JD grew up with deep roots in the local church and came to know the Lord at a young age. He quickly found his calling in full time ministry after serving at his local church and serving with IMB and NAMB missionaries on short term mission trips. Over the last decade God has been faithful to give John David opportunities to serve in a number of different ministries and capacities in and outside the church. John David is married to his wife Jenny and they enjoy the outdoors, being on the water, road trips, and any chance for adventure. JD leads worship in our North Venue and assists our communications department with content creation and social media elements.

Michael and his family moved to the Lake Area from Orlando, Florida, in July 2021 to join the Trinity team. He has worked in communications ministry since 2014 after starting his career as an editor and designer at newspapers in Florida, New York, and Alabama. Michael graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of South Florida, in Tampa, Florida, in 1998.

Michael was saved and baptized at the age of 10 at First Baptist Church in Brandon, Florida.

Michael and his wife, Crissy, have been married since March 2004. They have three children, a cat named Fuller, and a golden retriever named Rookie.

Michael is thankful for the opportunity to lead Trinity’s communications team and have a front-row seat to see everything God is doing at The Family Place. He is excited about Trinity’s future and believes the best is yet to come!

Andrew grew up in church being taught the Bible, hearing the stories, and singing the songs. However, the truth of God’s word did not pierce his heart until he was 13 years old. As a camper at Dry Creek Baptist Camp, he realized he was a sinner who needed a Savior, and he surrendered his life to Jesus on the first day of camp.

Andrew's college years were very formative in his life. He majored in psychology at McNeese State University and was heavily involved with the McNeese Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM). His time at the BCM gave him his first taste of ministry. During this time, he surrendered to a life in ministry and began working in student ministry. After graduating from college, while still doing student ministry, he also worked in college ministry at the BCM. After he finished his time at the BCM, he began furthering his education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated with a master’s degree in Christian education.

In 2018, Andrew married his wife, Morgan. They served in ministry when they met in college and are still serving together today. She is his greatest supporter and greatest help in ministry and life.

In 2020, Andrew began working at Trinity as the student ministry associate pastor, emphasizing on college ministry. He is passionate about discipleship and education. He believes everything he learned in seminary, as well as everything he continues to learn as he studies God’s word, is to share with others to equip them to live obediently as stewards of the gospel. He is thankful for the opportunities he has had to disciple our students and help them grow as obedient followers of Christ.
