What is the Lord’s Supper?
It’s one of the ways we obey and remember. When we take the bread and cup together, we’re proclaiming the death of Christ – declaring that His body was broken and His blood was shed for us. It’s a testimony of personal faith, done in community.
Who can participate?
Every born-again believer is welcome at the table. When you come, we’ll take a minute for self-examination – confessing any sin and coming with a clear conscience.
The Baptist Faith and Message puts it this way:
The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
